Time Warp

Every time we visit Fredericksburg, TX, we find interesting old cars. The first shot is a bit of an experiment in abstract thinking. I thought the slightly out-of-kilter hood ornament resembled a plane or bird coming out of the sun - but I decided to leave the Ford badge for some reason.

No. 1 - It's a Bird, It's a Plane, it's...

No. 2 - A 1952 Ford Station Wagon

No. 3 - A Giant 1969 Mercury Grand Marquis

These are so great! The third is my favorite....but I really like your creativity on the first too! I really enjoy classic cars.

Re: Time Warp

I like the second shot of the 1952 Ford. I remember when our family owned a 1953 Ford.

Re: Time Warp

Mine was a '49 as well - but it was a Chevvy coupe acquired in 1958. I drove it all the way from Texas to Fort Ord, Calif., for my second eight weeks of basic training. Sold it there because I had to get to the East Coast for my first post-basic assignment. Long story, but I never got paid for the coupe.

Re: Time Warp

Interesting take on these tbarry, and I like you tryihng something different on the first. Unless the original paintwork is really ugly (or maybe even if it is), I wonder what the color versions look like.
