For the most part, I have my dog trained to do his business in my yard, before or after our walks. I see no reason why others couldn't do the same. It makes it easier to clean up, and you don't have to walk around with a bag of poop.
When away from home, he has his poop bag attached to his collar, just in case.
I find it disturbing when people don't clean up after their dog, even at the dog park where bags and trash cans are supplied.

I also have plenty of others.

Re: Pet Peeves

Oh gosh I have too many to list but I'll list a few.
1. People who leave their grocery carts in the middle of the store's aisle.
2. People who leave their grocery carts in parking spaces instead of putting them away.
3. People who sit at a red light waiting for the light to turn green before making a right turn
when it is legal to make a right turn on red.
4. People who drive in the inside lane of an interstate highway when not passing.
5. People who drive in the inside lane at 30 m.p.h. when the speed limit is 40.
6. People who are inconsiderate.
7. People who are too lazy to throw their beer bottles and other trash in the trash
receptacles at the forest preserves throwing them on the ground instead.
There are many more but this is enough for now. Now you know why I prefer hanging out with spiders instead of people.

Re: Pet Peeves

People abusing their pets
People who keep their dogs grossly overweight
People who get more money back in taxes than what was withheld

Re: Pet Peeves

Speaking of people driving slow in the passing lane... I cannot stand when I am in the far right lane (so the slow lane), I'm going OVER the speed limit, someone is riding my butt, and there's ample space to pass me. No one should be riding anyone's tail in the slow lane anyway, but it's especially annoying when I'm not even going slow.

Yes! Me too. I "Love" those kind of drivers...That's when I purposely slow down to the limit to annoy them! I especially love it when they take over and get stopped at the red light ahead!!

Re: Pet Peeves

What about the drivers in the left turn lane determined to make their turn even after the green arrow is no longer lit. I am one who rarely ever uses my horn but one day I sat on mine when someone turned in front of me when their arrow was no longer lit and my light was green. As I stated in my other post one of my pet peeves is inconsiderate people and I'm finding this to the rule more often than the exception.

Nothing irritates me much more than stupid inconsiderate drivers. We all make mistakes when driving and I'm no exception but there is a huge difference to making an honest mistake and being totally inconsiderate.

Re: Pet Peeves

Because this one happened this morning!

The Toyota Prius driver who get's in the passing lane, sets his cruise control to 63 MPH and refuses to change lanes, oblivious to the 2 mile backup behind them..........

Slow drivers on 2 lane winding roads that don't use turnouts
