De plane, boss, de plane

I'm trying to figure out how to post photos a different way. Russ and Sharna are trying to give me hints on how to do that. They may have an up hill battle...lol.

Re: De plane, boss, de plane

That was a fail. How do I delete the post?

I think I need to make my images a bit larger as Russ suggested. I've been compressing them pretty small to make downloading easier. Guess I need to rethink that.

Thanks to Russ and Sharna for teaching an old dog a new trick. Now I know how to post photos without the thumbnail.

This photo was one I took at the Commemorative Air Sho in Midland Texas this past October.

Re: De plane, boss, de plane

Nice shot, gotta love them old planes!

To confuse you even more.... The easiest way I found to post from Flickr lately is to click on the image you want to display in your Photostream.

At the bottom right there is a square with a curved arrow, if you hover over it should read "More Ways to Share".

Click that box and it brings up a pop up. I expand the "Grab the HTML/BBCode" section. Choose the BBCode option at the bottom. I usually choose the "Large 1024" size in that selection box. This will give a a bunch of text in the box for a Large sized photo. Just copy all the text and then paste it right in your post.

If you Preview the Post you should see your photo right there.

Thanks for your comments, John. That's exactly how I wound up doing it as you suggested. It took a couple of trial and error posts but I finally figured it out.
