D750 first impression

I think the only time I have ever been this excited was the day my D4 arrived. After reading countless reviews, and playing around in stores I was finally able to get my D750. Today was the first hike and let me say I cannot believe how light this camera is. After 3 years of carrying my little beast it was such a relief.

I still have to get used to the controls as the layout is very different from both my D300s and D4. I have however found how to use all the menus to set most everything.

Our hike was in San Clemente Canyon and was a nice short 4.5 mile stretch. The walk itself is truly beautifula nd the only negative was its proximate to the highway.

As heavily overcast as the day was the ISOs were pushing, especially in the more shadowed areas. Its control matches my D4. I think I am going to love this camera.
