EF 28mm 1.8 versus Sigma 20mm 1.8 versus ??

Hi everybody. I just don't see a clear verdict on the non-L options for the 20-30 mm prime range. I also feel like maybe I am missing an option. I need a low-light lens to compliment my 50/1.4 for use at evening dances and indoor weddings, and such. Suggestions?

Or, maybe I should get 17-40 L and just plan on using flash when I can?

Thanks....

I have thought about this lens until I started reading that it has front focus issues with the 20D and XT. Do you have it?

Just remember. With Sigma's Reverse engineering, you'll have to pay to upgrade it in 5 to 6 years.
