Tiling

Is there a way to do seamless tiling in PS to make a background?

What do you mean? to have one image connect to itself when its right next to it and above below? Like a brick wall?

My guess is you gotta do it yourself in photoshop, trial and error.

Yes, there is. Use the pattern tool. Make a pattern from whatever it is you're wanting to tile. Then it just resides in your patterns file, and to tile it, you just click the pattern and fill.

Here is a tutorial on it, though you could probably find a better one by just googling "How to make Photoshop Patterns"

I know this is an old thread but I just got back online.

There is a plug-in that will also work - FM Tile Tools - it is freeware and works for most images - http://www.fantasticmachines.com/
