The Old Gristmill

October is always beautiful in West Virginia, the state of my birth. This shot was taken at the Babcock State Park in central southern part of the state of the Glade Creek Gristmill. This gristmill was built here from several gristmills located throughout the state that were in various stages of disrepair and/or decay. The best parts from about four different mills were brought here and assembled to make one good one. The location was chosen because of it's beauty.

Beautiful shot, Benji... I think this is the first non-portrait shot you've posted, and it's beautiful! It's so small, but you can still see the great detail in the shot... well framed.

Great shot, but to small to really judge well. The fall colors looked excellent with it.

I would love to post it larger, and I tried three times to post it larger, but all three times a screen popped up and said it was too large, so I shrunk it to 128 kb (I think) and it finally went through. Any suggestions?

Or compress it a bit to keep the dimentions larger, but the file size smaller.
