"doing" or not doing digital as you put it is a matter of choice.

However, if they make the lensbaby in your camera mount theres no reason you cant use it on your film body. Ive used my lensbaby on both my digital body and film body.

i realize its my choice, but don't see how that relates to my question about the lens baby.

i just was thrown off by the ad saying it was for DSLRs.

It relates because the lensbaby is modelled to get the same effect as a holga, which is already a film camera. That is probably why they state that its for dslrs.
