John, the camera is almost 90 degrees to the sun, perfect condition for a polarizer... shoud have used one. notice the sky now, besides being blown out, it lacks color too.

...and therefore the photo looks sort of flat as well. In addition to the sky being blown out, there are also some sunlight that's reflecting on the trees that would have been remidied with the use of a polarizer... Great spot, though... I bet it's filled with photo ops!

Hi Punit,

Thanks for the comments.

Yes a polarizer is on my to get list, I just put a UV filter on.

The colours are pretty well how it looked. The colours in spring in the UK are very subtle (when it's not raining that is )
