Sky Furniture Question??

Can anyone tell me what this weirdo fork thing in the sky is? I wondered if it was to do with lightening but everyone I ask, doesn't seem to know. It sits right along the railway..ummm, appreciate it if someone can fill me in on this.

It looks like some sort of an antenna to me. Although you may be right, it could be a lightning rod of some kind. In other words, I don't know either. Sorry, I'm absolutely no help.

I agree with Scott. It looks like a communications antenna. If the has phone service in it or if the railroad company can contact the engineer directly, they might the eqivalent of a small cell phone tower. They resemble the array that sometimes sits at the top and/or around a cell tower.

It does indeed, aly! I asked someone today again about this and they said it is an atenna used by the rail workers when they're working on the lines for communication on radios. Glad to figure it out in the end..I'm not good at mysteries.
