That's for the great article! I'm finally starting to get used to using PS although I'm currently using Elements and not CS or 7 etc.

I've followed all of the steps and created the brush for the signature however when I place it onto the image and "stamp" it and save the image. When I open the image back up I can't see the signature.

This worked in Elements 2.0. The only thing I couldn't figure out was the alt 0169 doesn't make the copyright sign. Anyone know how to make it in elements.

thanks

I did get this to work however for some odd reason I had to re-enter the numbers more than once before it worked...

When I stamp the image it doesn't seem to leave a stamp of any kind behind. Am I doing something wrong? Does anyone know what it could be?

Actually ignore my last post. I just figured it out..I had to select mask rather than selection. Ok maybe not. I can see it stamp the image now however when i save it and then close and re-open it I can no longer see it again.

Is there a secret to making the "crop" work correctly. For some reason it will not allow me to make a rectangular crop. I pulled out the PS Users Manual, and the book from the class I took and still can't make it work.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have a question about the copyright. How do I put that little symbol in my signature stamp?? I tried doing what it said but it didn't work for me.

To create the rectangle, stay in "text" mode, hold down the left mouse button and move the mouse like you were cropping.
To create the copyright symbol, hold down the "alt" key and type in 0169.
Kodak, what I do is once I have stamped my signature, I switch to another tool like zoom and then save as. See if that works for you.

Must say perfect timing for this to come back up to the top of the list. Was looking for this the other day.
