Blickling Hall with BIG Sky!

Coming home tonight and the clouds were somewhat dramatic - so quick detour to a local stately home !

Yes, these have been tone mapped but no they are not HDR images. I like the strong effect that this process gives but others may differ?

Just imagine driving up this drive in a horse and carriage . . .

I like them a lot. Thay have an incredible depth to them. But my knowledge isn't great. What is "tone mapped"? How do you do it?

photomatix is the best program for tone mapping i have found! WOW! these are stunnign man!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW!

FYI - photomatix is also a plug in for photoshop - this is what I used.
