Cromer pier - extreme panoramic!

This is not quite the whole 360 degrees originally shot.

I would say about 290 degrees.

One or two rough bits that need cleaning up but the light was terrible (that's my excuse anyway!! ) and I definitely need to go back and have another go at this one on a sunny day!

Oh yeah, I could really do with a Nodal Ninja to help me out with this one - but now waiting for Karen to sort out the shots with her prize!!!

Thanks so much guys!

Really pleased that you like!

Just to give you an idea of how much I have scaled this down.

The original version is 29,532x3317 pixels.

No interpolation has been used.

At 300ppi that is equivalent to 98 inches wide by 11 inches high. (250 cm x 28 cm)

I had some good advice on the crop to make it stronger.

I so need to get back on a decent day and try this again - I'm wanting to get up to Cromer at dawn soon anyway to try and get some shots of the fishing fleet coming in, but need to consult the tide timetable to see when it's going to be at an almost decent hour!

Thanks again for bothering to open that tiny little thumbnail!

Andy

I think that there already is a really good one which I couldn't beat - from those nice guys at Nodal Ninja

The Secrets to Panoramic Photography

Saving my pennies and waiting for them to do a pano head that's compatible with a 350D and battery pack!
