Red Mill Pond in its Autumn glory

It drizzled with rain all day, yesterday (Wednesday, Nov. 8th) About the time I was packing up my tools to head home, a mist came down over Red Mill pond where I was working.

Thank you, Rosie and Alyeska for your kind comments. Sometimes it is frustrating when one is itching to take pictures and looking for the perfect scene but nothing comes to view. Other times we just fall right into such a scene, and this was one of those occasions for me. Some people go out and make pictures but I'm too lazy to do that. Serendipity is so much easier!

Patman, I see the darkened right side of the picture and the dark halo around the bough of the tree. The darkened right side does do something for it. Please tell me what this Orton process is. I have not heard of it, before.

I really like the natural low light of this image, in fact it has a very English winter feel to me and the sky just typifies England. Very pretty, prof.

I hadn't thought about that, Terri, but you are right, although it was a bit warmer than an English winter; it was around 60 F. You'll have to convert that into Centifreight or whatever they use over there, now.
