Also do you bring a cup of coffee, or your mp3 player to listen to music while you shoot? Im just curious to hear your peoples photography routines .
Me myself I love to bring my ipod with me when Im taking pictures by myself. Different songs seem to set the mood so Im more open to those type of shots, I dunno if that makes sense .
Lets hear em
1. A ladder cart to carry all the accessories on, and to get some height if necessary to get shots above the heads of a crowd.

2. A monopod for extra height. You can get some good views using one of those. Stick the camera on it and hoist it in the air.

3. Remote camera control for use with the monopod.

4. Camera

5. Wide-angle lens 11 - 18mm

6. My standard 18 - 200mm lens

7. 80 - 300mm telephoto lens

8. 2x teleconverter

9. Dedicated flash

10. Polarizing filter

11. Skylight filter

12. Starburst filter (for those evening shots along the embankment)

13. Graduated neutral density filter

14. Tripod

15. Extra battery

16. Lunchbox

17. Umbrella in case it rains

18. Camp bed to sleep on for when I get there and I'm too tired to take any pics
