Favorite Thing to Shoot...?

Hey everyone,

Lately Ive been wondering about the members here at the corner. The last thread I made was asking what accessories you take when you go out and shoot. This thread I was wondering, after you get all your accessories and items you need to go shoot, what is your favorite thing to shoot? Do you like nature shots or landscape? Or photographing people when they least expect it? Maybe a more professional angle with photoshoots? Im just curious what everyones favorite thing to shoot is (I know everyone shoots basically everything) but I wanted to know the favorites
Me I think I like sports and people the most. Sports just because it shows action and Im totally into sports and people just because each person is so unique in appearance and structure and personality, its amazing
So lets hear em...

Great thread.

My favorite thing to shoot? New things! lol

I like to try something different every now and then. A bit of this and that. But generally, I find that abstract and architecture photography is what interests me the most. Terrible at nature and landscape photography but hope to progress on that front someday.

Every now and then, I try to set a few new themes or challenges to 'try' and these days, I plan to spend more time on night photography and some work on portraits as well.

Thanks for asking.

Anything that happens to take my fancy. And then I don't have the camera with me ! Getting a small point and shoot to keep in my pocket so I can take advantage.

I like photographing wild-life in it's natural enviroment. But, I am about as stealthy as a stampeding waterbuffalo! So most of my shots are of empty landscapes! Trying to get more into people and hope to build a studio here soon. Did shoot some sports in Florida....started going to the weekly kids rodeo in Immokelee. I am always trying to go beyond what I normally do, but usually with little success.

Macro+Abstract. It's hard to see abstract in every-day life, and impossible for a human to see 1cm (I !LOVE! my Canon Powershot A620's macro!)away from an object.

I guess everyday things, things that all can always see, bore me.

Great thread BTW!

Years ago it was my kids - I have hundreds (maybe thousands) of slides and film pics of karate tournaments, football games, or Little League games (I've had umpires stop the game so I could finish taking pictures and stop distracting my son, the catcher).

Sunrises used to be my favorite - something about capturing a new day - a new start...getting up early and having the beach to myself. Of course, when I'm in California, it's sunsets.

I really love landscapes and animals tho.

That's a very good question. I don't have a favorite. I like to shoot what ever presents itself at the time. I always wanted to get out early in the morning to shoot sunrises, but i just can't seem to get my *** out of bed. I,m working on it and i will do it.

I pretty much shoot whatever I see, or have an idea for. My favorite subject has always been cemeteries. I think portraits and weddings are the last on my list. I have even turned down 3 weddings, cause I just cant be bothered with them. Way too much organized confusion for me.
Most of my shooting happens when I just venture out the front door, put on my mp3 player and let life take me wherever I end up.
Cool thread. It is interesting to see what others say.
