Description: Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to photograph a product - any product - as it if were for a magazine ad. You can photograph a car, a house, a shampoo bottle, cologne, an avocado, whatever you want. The title of your photograph must be the product's name - nothing more, nothing less.

I wasn't impying text should literally be added, but the contest concept infers one should compose for an ad that would have a headline, tagline or body copy and so in judging the finals, voters should take into consideration whether the image allows for these elements as a successful mag ad should have. Agree? If not, please clarify for all the participants. THX-J

You don't need to leave space for a tagline or body copy. In fact, don't. The image should speak for itself (i.e. a successful magazine ad doesn't need to have these elements in them for them to be "successful"). Sometimes, just the product itself is strong enough to take up the entire ad space.
