Halloween pt1

I have had some requests to show my halloween haunt, so I dug in to my achives from last year and the year before to put up a few snapshots. This year, will be even larger, as I have joined another haunt, so I should be getting pics soon.
I used to do this display around my house, using all hand made props , 4 actors, and a pile of fog machines, lighting, moving props and some good ol laughs.
The front part of my cemetery gates at night.

A shot of my cemetery in the day with the fog machines on.

The caretaker in my cemetery. Even tho he is not real, he freaked a lot of people out.

The lifesize stone crypt, which is made of styrofoam and carved.
Anyone who has seen the movie The Ring, might recognize this one. Samara. She is fully functional, and is controlled by a motor attached to her spine that lets her move in and out of the well.

You are kidding right? I can't believe she actually moves too. She gave me the creeps just seeing her. That movie even freaked my husband out and he is a dihard. Right after the movie was over his phone rang. It was a friend of mine and I thought he was going to kill her. LOL!!! I wish I could see your haunts in person. I bet it is really awesome.

Very cool stuff Carl! Man, you take this Halloween stuff pretty seriously.
I seem to remember seeing somewhere that there was a contest for these types of shots.

Wonderful shots! I wish I had the money to do things like this on Halloween. I also wish I had the yard size to do more than a couple of headstones.... Oh well, my next house is going to have a large enough yard I can do things like this!!!! lol

Madness

Madness does not always howl. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "Hey, is there room in your head for one more?"

So freakin' awesome! I am now officially jealous. I need the money to come to Canada just so I can see all this in person! You have outdone yourself as usual, sir.

You know what fits here, a self portrait! LOL

Just kidding.

Great set, Carl. Very spooky and well captured. Looking forward to part 2.

What you do for Halloween, carl, is a work of art, the amount of effort and creativity you put into it is astounding! That's incredible that all of this comes from proprs, I think I'd still be scared to pop round for tea!

Thanks so much for all your kind words. It is really appreciated.
Sometimes the work involved in building the props can be a challenge. Samara almost drove me over the edge. Im hoping in the next two weeks to have something from the new haunt.
Faisal....you mean like a self portrait in halloween garb? That could be a little frightening . Maybe....
Scott...there was a contest on our halloween forum a while back. Some people go all out, and blow mine away. I have not been on the halloween forum for a while now. It got too political there and it took the fun out of it. .

Thanks again everyone.
