Layers

Major props goes out to the chap who wrote this toutorial first of all.

This took me about 20 - 30mins to get my head around and complete and im quiet pleased with myself, all i really know in photoshop is what i know and i tell you one thing, layers aint one of them - but tonight hm..4am..this morning? i can say i now have a very basic knowledge of what they are really about.

I know the likes of ohenry who is always around photography101 and critiques has said along with others to work with layers, makes life alot easier, dosent destroy you're original - and when making slight adjustments you are not being destructive towards it and i knew exactly what they meant but the thing was, i had no idea how to work out layers.

I did that toutorial as i mentioned up top there in the link and read through it and ba da bing ba da boom at the end i was thinking "gee...that wasnt really so hard...why couldnt they just call layers plastic sheets?" haha

I took a picture of a similar old style car from google images to work with which was red and made it a lovley shade of purple - dont ask why i choose purple it just kinda came that way.

But im quiet happy - now i just want to know what other things i can use layers for
