" Flying High "

Taken on a recent trip to San Salvador at Sunset. Again, using my new Nikon 40D camera. Shutter speed 1/400, Aperture f 5.0, FL 62.00, ISO 200. 200 mm lens.

Apparently we are not working too much in San Salvador. Beautiful shot. I think I would have tried to catch more of the tree and shifted the kite to the left.

I am going to San Salvador in January. Looking forward to some great photo ops.

I believe you did quite well with the sillouette. My only nitpic would be to have less of a void on the bottom.

Flying High - critique Rad-Nuk

Thanks for your thoughts on my photo Flying High. I took the photo very quickly in a turn and just caught the kite so it wasn't a situation were you could control that aspect. I do have other sunset shots with more of the tree but that would have left out the kite and I wasn't quite comfortable about the way the tree looked to the right. Whether more or less was better. Anyway, thanks for your comments and I'm sure you'll get some great photos on your visit there. Karyl Dalbey
