Contest Corner Challenge #43: Holiday Alphabetography
Title: Contest Corner Challenge #43: Holiday Alphabetography
End Date: 11:59pm GMT, Monday, December 24th, 2007. Sponsor: PsPrint - By combining the very best in web technologies with state-of-the-art production facilities, PsPrint delivers online convenience combined with lightening-fast turnaround and very competitive prices for all your print needs. Prizes: If the winner is a Premiere Member, they will receive a $200 Gift Certificate for any services at PsPrint. If the winner is not a Premiere Member, they will receive a $100 Gift Certificate for any services at PsPrint. Description: You ever notice that some objects kind of look like letters? Like the brim of a mug looks like an "O" or the top of that roof makes the letter "A", or even a stick in the shape of the letter "Y." Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to photograph these objects that look like letters, and put them together to create a holiday word (like peace, joy, christmas, jesus, lights, wreath, hanukkah, festivus, etc). Additional Note: In this contest you may use selective color, a frame, and you may ignore the size and dimension restrictions, as you will be required to "stitch" several of these photos together to make a word. The title of your photograph should be the word that you "alphabetographed." CCC Guidelines. To read the guidelines, please visit here: Contest Corner Rules & Regulations. Please be sure to read these guidelines carefully before submitting your photograph. Any photographs submitted that do not adhere to these guidelines will be rejected and sent back.

Very cool idea Tim! Can we create the shapes? Like using light?

You can influence the creation of the shapes, but you can't create them - they should be just regular objects like a fence, a CD, a box, a leaf, a hose, a TV stand, etc...

Good thing you're not driving our bus, Tim, because you keep taking these huge turns! What an interesting twist of subjects. Love it!
Good luck to all

How neat!
Does food and drink count as influencing? I mean, a cookie is usually round but you make it that way right? Just wanted to clarify. |

Do they have to be in different photos stitched together or can all of the objects be in one photo?
