Wisom Teeth

Hi all,

I post this is a very painful situation. I just got my wisdom teeth removed today. Its not pleasant to say the least. I was awake through the whole thing. And now my jaw is very sore and my mouth is bloody. Just wanted to let everyone know what was happening.
Hope your all well

It's easy to forget that for many people, having their wisdom teeth pulled/cut out is an uncomfortable surgery. Hopefully, by next week it will all be a distant, fuzzy memory and your teeth will bother you no more!

I'm a singer, and a trained singer get's a lot of sympathetic vibrations/resonance going on in her sinuses, face bones, teeth, etc. I was in rehearsal for a professional show the day after having some wisdom teeth removed. I went to sing a high note and the resulting pain dropped me like a sack of wet cement. It was very funny and we all laughed. Laughing hurt too. The same thing happened to another soprano friend of mine, she passed out. It's surgery. It takes your body awhile to recover. Hope you feel better soon.

I can totally sympathize with you. I had mine out last month. Went in to have one done and left with all four done. On the up side, I was knocked out for it. However, about 20 minutes after it was done, I was in a lot of pain. Took lots of vicodin for about the first week and my mouth didn't feel fully back to normal for about 3 weeks. Things just didn't seem to fit like they did before. I'm finally back to normal and am glad to say that I'm glad I'll never have to do it again! Hope yours heals soon and doesn't cause you too much discomfort!

Hope you feel better soon.

I know when I had my 8 wisdom teeth cut out when I was 16 my mouth hurt real bad for a couple of days. Then there were the stiches that felt weird.

Luckily I was knocked out when they took mine, and my husband was also knocked out for his.

Hope you feel better and you can eat soon. I was told 3 years ago I needed to have mined pulled, never went back.

May have to soon though, really starting to feel the pain in my jaw now. I procrastinate too much so it probably won't happen 'til I can't stand it no more.
