Urban Decay

This was taken at a disused holiday camp in Lowestoft. I was attracted by the peeling varnish on the bench, the weeds coming through the pavement and the boarded up windows of the shop. I converted it to black and white, did some selective dodging and burning and gave it a black vignette.
Let me know what you think.

i really like the photo but im unsure about the way you composed the bench, the lines on the bench are kinda drawing me into a corner away from the building and the weeds where the subject is trying to convey urban decay.
But over all i think it makes an interesting photo

Overall, I really like this photo. I agree that the lines in the bench draw you to the weeds... but then, in urban decay, maybe that's what you end of with?! Anyway, I think that the post processing, the black and white especially, really works well in this.

Very nice, love depth in the picture.
I think some crop from the left will be best (Just my option)

Good luck

I thought that all of Lowy was like this?

Again, for me, a like the grunge of the image but would like to have had more of the bench in the shot, Maybe backing up a foot or two and getting a little lower . . .

but I do like the shot for the textures, and I can see why you were drawn.

angle

I like the concept / but not too sure if this was the correct angle..texture is there for sure...but maybe if you did a corner angle of the bench and had more of the bldg in backdrop...just a suggestion
