San Joaqin Delta & Tall Ship

Hi

After seeing a few impressive (to me) posts with the Topaz plug-in I wanted to give it a try. This weekend the tall ship Lady Washington (the “Black Pearl in the movie “Pirates of the Caribbean”) docked here at the Antioch Marina for tours and rides. I went down on Friday and took a few pictures and selected one to play with when it was sailing down the San Joaquin River Delta along the Antioch shoreline. I’m posting the original untouched jpeg along with the one I did in PS along with the Topaz plug-in. I initially corrected color and levels and cropped with the standard PS tools then applied a Topaz adjustment and then went back and used the diffuse glow filter in PS for the final jpeg. These have been reduced to 72ppi from 300. I’m looking for past and present mix with the sailing ship in sharp contrast to today’s industrial shoreline (power plants).

If you would let me know what you think, Jerry.
