Perhaps a bit too much foreground with the rocks, but other than that, I like it. Nice composition and a nice tight crop.

Yeah... I agree about the crop. Fire is always so interesting to look at when captured in a photograph...

I never really noticed that before, but fire turns out really cool on photo... I'll have to try to take some fire shots at some camp fires this summer. Any suggestions on taking pictures of fire?

I have noticed that the flames looks better when it's cloudy, so don't take photos when it's sunny.

Just experiment... You'd have to be careful to under and over expose, but I think just playing around with it would be your best bet.

Recent Photo: Graffiti Girl
Fire photos are most interesting things! Friend and I sat in front of a campfire with a kettle sitting on it (at night) for about half an hour - snapping away on different settings, having a bevvie, and still didn't come up with anything I'd post!! Fine way to spend an eveing tho'
