I was in a canoe and slowly drifted towards it...they are very jumpy

Wow You couldn't stage that nice a backdrop in a studio! What a Beauty ! And the water being so still for the reflections. Amazing !

wow amazing shot. i've tried several times to capture the blue heron as we live close to a nature walk with parks and such but there are always runners and bikers that scare them off before i'm ready! did you have to sit for a long time for this one?

I only got the one series of this one, I seen it sitting on a bank near this pond and just let the canoe drift towards it...we had a staring match until he jumped and I fired about 20 frames as he flew away.

Here is another that I am going to print on a 48" canvas gallery wrap.
