I purchased an AB800 from Alien Bees as well as some stands/storage from them. I got my softbox from B&H (50x50 Westcott Apollo). Also bought a Sekonic light meter at the same time from B&H. Bought a reflector off ebay. All in all I spent about $1000.00 about 3 years ago for the set up.
