on top of the world

we walked up this hill every stinking day. a good view but hard on the legs. on this day a few older (65-70 years old) people passed us going up the hill.

Re: on top of the world

On the first one I liked the clouds reflecting on the water. I thought that the trees in front brings you to the point and the point of the land to the reflections in the water. The second one I wanted to compose more with composition. I thought that the foreground with the rocks bring you into the first roof (middle ground) and it also mirrors the point of the land. And of course the land point, points you to the background of clouds and sea. Was this a right? Or was I over thinking a simple shot. CC needed please.
