Alternative to iPhoto & Aperture?

I just don't like either one of these for organizing photos. I use Pixelmator for any image alterations I need, but I want a good Mac-based organizing program! Suggestions, please!

Re: Alternative to iPhoto & Aperture?

Normally, I would suggest Adobe Lightroom, but if all you're looking for is an organizer, that would be overkill.

Hi,

Bridge - comes with photoshop.

I use it for organizing my photos and all my documents. It is a great program.

ACDSee gets some great reviews on the Windows side of the world, you might want to try a free trial of the Mac version to see if you like it.

bridge or lightroom. I prefer lightroom because of time stamp adjustments.

Re: Alternative to iPhoto & Aperture?

ACDSee is quite useful as a photo organizer. It has a wide range of organizing options to narrow down your search and quickly find what you were looking for.
You can also try PhotoDirector 7 if you want.
