It is a Boing B17 and I believe it might be the G series, don't know for sure. I had a fun day at Buchanon Field in Concord, CA when they had 3 vintage WWII aircraft on dispaly 2 years ago (took some pictures need to go back and look through them). I actually got the previlage of talking to 2 veterans who flew missions aboard the B17, one was a navigator and the other a belly gunner. Interesting to hear them talk, the navigator was shot down on a mission over Geramny and was a prisioner of war.
