Very beautiful, so elegant with your composition. The only thing I would perhaps change is to clone out that one dark spot on the right-hand corner under the petal. Great job, especially for your first.

Good point. I was more focused on the flower line edge being sharp and really did not notice the spot.

Not to mislead anyone this is not my first attempt, just my first try using a new lens that I just purchased.
