Friday I took my six year old daughter down to the Air and Water Show, her first. I tried to explain to her, as a Veteran, that it was the militaries way to show the American public how they perform, without actually hurting anyone, and that she should be prepared because it would be lould. For the most part it was not to bad, and she reminded me by telling me "It's not very loud, Daddy." When the Blue Angles arrived one of them did a low level high speed pass that would have woke the dead...just about, unfortunately since were so close to the skyscrapers they can not go supersonic for fear of blowing out windows, but, the guy behind me nearly dropped his camera which was far more expensive then mine!
