what aperture/shutter settings and any details on the equipment?
I have a sigma 105 but i am not getting such sharp macros.

I used a Nikon D200 camera with Nikkor 70-200 mm zoom lens and an extension tube between the lens and the camera. All settings were on manual and focus was manual, first by zooming in and out and then fine tuning with the focus ring. Metering was done with the camera meter.
