Though the shear was not going to support supercell we thought it would still be worth the 85 mile drive. Our target is Memphis, TX. The first 3 hours was almost completely dead. But that is how storm chasing goes sometimes. Luckily I was able to get my photography fix by shooting this photo of a passing train. Not really storm related.
