Thunderstorms were going to develop over a slight risk area in west Tecxas. Though the shear was not going to support supercell we thought it would still be worth the 85 mile drive. Our target is Memphis, TX. The first 3 hours was almost completely dead. But that is how storm chasing goes sometimes. Luckily I was able to get my photography fix by shooting this photo of a passing train. Not really storm related.
