Outstanding photograph with tremendous impact. Lighting, composition, texture, tonal values all add to the subject matter. The image draws the viewer into, through and gives pause to contemplate the history of these ruins and the possible stories that could be told if the "walls" could talk." Some historical background information would be would be an added bonus. Congratulations -James

Taken Mid summer morning 6.0 am St Andrews Fife.
The East coast of Scotland can be blessed with light of a very high quality, sometimes you have to be up very early though to appreciate it.
I was out of the house before 5.0 am to get this.
You know the so called 'Home of Golf', but a place of great historical interest with a University dating back to the 16th Century.
Burns night last night so Slainte mhath’, (pronounced ‘slan-je va’)is an appropriate greeting to you all
