M-Rock Yellowstone 651 Holster Camera Bag

What’s not standard are inclusions like an attached weather jacket that doubles as a lens changing sack (if your hands are small enough). The M-Rock Yellowstone 651 Holster Camera Bag also boasts water resistant zippers covered with water proof rubber zipper tape - and let me tell you, these zippers are good quality. They’re hard to pull, but it’s the “good” hard to pull, if you know what I mean - not sticky like an old zipper, just very solid feeling. It has a wire port for headphones from an mp3 player, and even has an attached lens cloth and bungee straps for carrying a jacket/tripod/etc at the bottom of the bag. These extra features are great, but what sets the M-Rock Yellowstone 651 Holster Camera Bag apart from many other similar camera bags is the sturdy construction of the entire bag. When you hold it in your hands and swing it onto your back, it feels sturdy and durable; it feels like a quality bag.

Straps and Weather Jacket
Capacity
The bag will hold almost all consumer-level dSLR’s with a 4” lens attached. If you use a battery grip, it might be a tight squeeze if it fits at all, but if you’re just carrying around 1 dSLR and a small/medium lens, this bag will hold it. The pockets aren’t huge, but will hold a cable or two, memory cards and an extra battery. The bungee straps at the bottom can hold a small tripod, or something loose like a jacket or sweater.

Overall, the M-Rock Yellowstone 651 Holster Camera Bag is one of the best holster-style camera bags I’ve used to date. It has some neat features not seen on other bags, and includes all the standard features we’ve come to expect from our camera bags. What sets this one apart are the quality materials used to make the bag, and the quality craftsmanship in designing and putting these bags together. If you can afford the slightly higher price tag (you can pick one up for $45 right now at M-Rock.com, you’ll have this bag for years to come.
